2023 AMDA Annual Conference

The conference program included sessions on “Current Trends in Giving to Museums”, “2023 Salary Survey Report” (produced by The Morey Group), “Lessons Learned on the Campaign Trail”, “Planned Giving”, “Charitable Giving with Donor Advised Funds”, “Modern Membership”, “Breakout Sessions by Museum Type/Budget”, and “The Role of DEIA in Campaigns”.

Official visits and private collection tours were part of the event: the conference included a visit to The Menil Collection (Menil Drawing Institute) hosted by its Director of Advancement; plus private collections covering European art, modern and contemporary Latin-American art, craft, decorative arts, and American paintings.

The format included a check-in reception and welcome dinner, and a private collection visit on the last day.
